Sverker Danielsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Wieslaw Cichowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 17th minute. Kajetan Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Sverker Danielsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Sverker Danielsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lu Bin didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Wrocanka's Kajetan Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sverker Danielsson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Wieslaw Cichowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Kajetan Dawiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kajetan Dawiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Wrocanka were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sverker Danielsson took the corner. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Wyrostek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kajetan Dawiec saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, FC Wrocanka's Lu Bin got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Jarosz to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Milagros Fraga. With a little luck, FC Wrocanka's Kajetan Dawiec got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Reyes during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 90 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
