With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Mekki Item reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zulkarnaen Mandaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zulkarnaen Mandaga struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandung Tigers. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Azevedo in the 29th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Bandung Tigers's Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Zulkarnaen Mandaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. USA were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Bandung Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. The corner led USA's Diego Bradley to a score. 2-1 in the 63rd minute. Mekki Item stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Haji Gille fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandung Tigers's protests and gave Haji Gille a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Haji Gille hit a great ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 71st minute of the match. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mekki Item was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Leopoldo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bandung Tigers defense, Khalid Parry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mekki Item. The Bandung Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mekki Item should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Mekki Item reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mekki Item. Mekki Item dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1.
