Bo Kac who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Öberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Öberg. Tåpajens Bagare BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute of the match, Aurelian Stolnicu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mark Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Öberg having to make a save. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Bogren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Tåpajens Bagare BK's goalkeeper Mark Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tåpajens Bagare BK's goalkeeper Mark Öberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Kac in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Öberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 55th minute Bo Kac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Bogren during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Allan Bogren hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mark Öberg but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mark Öberg in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelian Stolnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Tåpajens Bagare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Jansson to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Kac's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Öberg. Mark Öberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 93 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mark Öberg, 1-4. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
