With a left leg Marcos Burni saved Berserkers FC Ψ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Burni was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Juan-Ramón Verón made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Frode Olavesen hit a great ball. Marcos Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Marcos Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 22nd minute of play. When Isidoro Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Isidoro Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 32nd minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Olliver Van Meirhaeghe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 35 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Furlit. In the 40thth minute of the game Juan-Ramón Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Burni made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Berserkers FC Ψ's Marcos Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Juan-Ramón Verón made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Radowit Furlit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 59th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Juan-Ramón Verón sent off a good shot on target. Juan-Ramón Verón had several of the Panama's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Marcos Cotilla as he didn't even see the shot coming. Juan-Ramón Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan-Ramón Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 minutes, Tomas Berganza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Berserkers FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Radowit Furlit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jim Mannell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Juan-Ramón Verón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th match minute, Berserkers FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Ramón Verón to maneuver through the defense. Radowit Furlit was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Berserkers FC Ψ's Marcos Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 95th minute of play. The Panama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Berserkers FC Ψ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
