Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, FERRARI's Jorge Azevedo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Ibañez's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Mariano Ibañez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes FERRARI got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto de Carvalho. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, FERRARI's Mariano Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mariano Ibañez might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Ibañez ran back to his position shaking his head. FERRARI's Cesar Godet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 26th minute of play. FERRARI's Cesar Godet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FERRARI from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FERRARI's Cesar Godet got control of the ball when Camilo Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 42nd minute of play forced FERRARI's goalkeeper Cesar Godet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. FERRARI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Joaquin Gayoso, was totally fooled by FERRARI's Serginho Maciel, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Jorge Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Ibañez in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Mariano Ibañez hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cesar Godet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Cesar Godet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle went the supporters of FERRARI were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Uruguay side.
