The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Hernström in the 5th minute of play. The referee ignored The Mongols's protests and gave Tage Classon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Tage Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Mongols's goalkeeper Magne Smefeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Mongols's attentive Charles Colin managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Miralles made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Albert Hernström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Mongols fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 31st minute, Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Hernström in the 38th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Ferrant during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bolivia booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Vennerkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, William Vallin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. William Vallin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Torsten Säv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Mongols's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Mongols's Torsten Säv got a free kick in the 97th minute. Although Bolivia had been in control for most of the match, The Mongols still came away with the win.
