Valhalla F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcelo Penilla's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Penilla helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Valhalla F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. 10 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xorxe Duran. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xorxe Duran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xorxe Duran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Valhalla F.C. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xorxe Duran. The Valhalla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xorxe Duran should have stopped the shot. Miguel Lagarejos struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla F.C.. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Xabel Candelo hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valhalla F.C.'s Xorxe Duran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xorxe Duran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xorxe Duran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xorxe Duran. Xorxe Duran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 43 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Xorxe Duran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valhalla F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Xorxe Duran however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xorxe Duran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Xorxe Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Valhalla F.C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xorxe Duran. The Valhalla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xorxe Duran should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Saelices. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xorxe Duran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xorxe Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of the match. Xorxe Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Valhalla F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Penilla kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Xorxe Duran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xorxe Duran, 0-14. The Valhalla F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
