Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Theodosis Kassapis made a huge save. Theodosis Kassapis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Theodosis Kassapis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Babbis Markatos's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babbis Markatos helped the player get up and apologised. Babbis Markatos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Horses's goalkeeper Theodosis Kassapis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Green Horses's Vaios Petridis got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 32nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Vaios Petridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodosis Kassapis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play.

Camilo Franco scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theodosis Kassapis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodosis Kassapis came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Camilo Franco. But to his dismay, Camilo Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Theodosis Kassapis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apostolos Mavrokordatos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Loukas Brizolakis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Loukas Brizolakis a yellow card for diving instead. Uruguay's Fernando Zorita was substituted for Jaime Cazalla. After 75 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Brizolakis. In the 77th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Kassapis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotiris Barberopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Theodosis Kassapis. Green Horses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
