Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Zaworski in the 4th minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Zaworski in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Zaworski in the 9th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute General Orginal were awarded a corner. Ingvar Helström went to the cornerflag to take it. General Orginal's Ingvar Helström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Börge Palmquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye General Orginal's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iwo Zaworski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by General Orginal's Iwo Zaworski. But to his dismay, Iwo Zaworski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 37 minutes into the game, one of General Orginal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in General Orginal's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Deckberg came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when General Orginal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Groth didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Zaworski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Deckberg made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes General Orginal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Robin Deckberg threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 69th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Zaworski in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Deckberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of the match. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after General Orginal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robin Deckberg quite easily take care of the ball. When Joshua Secada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robin Deckberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Iwo Zaworski put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
