In the 10th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruly's Joseph Neels slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Joseph Neels tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Escribano in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willy Van Linthout saved Bruly from getting behind. The supporters of Bruly booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 31st minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Skoroda struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruly. When Joseph Neels came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Neels couldn't finish the play. Tolek Skoroda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolek Skoroda during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Skoroda to maneuver through the defense. Joseph Neels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Tolek Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史浩远, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Alek Thys got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
