Andres Licardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Russo FC's Marcellus Baumann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Russo FC's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Russo FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joselito Ocomardia hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Deportivo Russo FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Llana. In the 21st minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcellus Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Baumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcellus Baumann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo Russo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Marcellus Baumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Deportivo Russo FC's Gonchan Gorostiza shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcos Cotilla but with some difficulty. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo Russo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Marcellus Baumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcellus Baumann. Deportivo Russo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcellus Baumann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kusko Carcel came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcellus Baumann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Marcellus Baumann to make any attempt to save it. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Gabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gabi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Gabi in the 73rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kusko Carcel in the 74th minute of the match. When Gonchan Gorostiza fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Russo FC's protests and gave Gonchan Gorostiza a yellow card for diving instead. Panama made a substitution. Oscar Laguna replaced Isidoro Sarmiento. In the 76th minute, Gonchan Gorostiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, Deportivo Russo FC's Kusko Carcel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcellus Baumann, 1-5. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Russo FC's goalkeeper Marcellus Baumann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Laguna struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Marcellus Baumann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After 96 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panama eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
