Perico Raya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Perico Raya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When Zeng Yong came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the CD Boiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeng Yong couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perico Raya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 played minutes CD Boiro got a freekick which was hit by Ion Fernandez. After 24 minutes CD Boiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute of the match Chile got a corner. CD Boiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perico Raya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiao Qing Xiao got free with Thiago Pliego in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Perico Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes CD Boiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Boiro's Perico Raya did a great save. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Perico Raya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perico Raya saved CD Boiro from getting behind. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Chile were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Raya having to make a save. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Perico Raya in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Qing Xiao in the 62nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Perico Raya could save by the left post. In the 67th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Perico Raya was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Perico Raya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 70th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perico Raya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Perico Raya made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Perico Raya. Perico Raya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 90th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Perico Raya. The goal made the score 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perico Raya. That made the score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. The CD Boiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
