Remus Pinches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Thomás Vollmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when 唐沙旭 sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐沙旭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Diablos Rojos's Jose-Antonio Capon in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Remus Pinches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Capon in the 38th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zach Harrison hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Vollmar in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Diablos Rojos's Thomás Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 唐沙旭 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 唐沙旭, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Remus Pinches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Pinches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 65th minute. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 67th minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 唐沙旭 in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remus Pinches. Monty Rogers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 79th minute, but Remus Pinches got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Diablos Rojos hanging dry this time. In the 85th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Capon in the 86th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 88th minute of play. Remus Pinches was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Sam Campbell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sam Campbell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald.
