In the 2nd minute, Johnny Van Havent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eguzki Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. From close distance Eguzki Martinez pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 7 minutes into the game. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Johnny Van Havent sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 13th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Daniel Sbârcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes in the game Nicasio Litago did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vinicio Revuelta. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Daniel Sbârcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, David Armada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Armada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Sbârcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Armada. Daniel Sbârcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Litago made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Colombia's Santino Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Sbârcea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Havent, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Eguzki Martinez ran back to his position shaking his head. Kevin Mastache charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Mastache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Desiderio Perutxo was substituted for Johnny Van Havent. 69 minutes into the match, Eguzki Martinez notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Armada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Perutxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Armada went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Eguzki Martinez made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Desiderio Perutxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Orihuela Club de Fútbol from getting a goal against them. Pascual Carballar scored 4-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Sbârcea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Daniel Sbârcea threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
