Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodolfo Hanot took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edmundo Espiga, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 11 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. 17 minutes into the match, Racing Comunicaciones's Godfredo Emmanuel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Godfredo Emmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Racing Comunicaciones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Emmanuel couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Radomil Hodyl with Apolo Txindoki as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Godfredo Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Laureano Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Laureano Belasko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th match minute, Racing Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. Laureano Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 60th minute of the match. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Laureano Belasko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play forced Racing Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Laureano Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Apolo Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Txindoki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Racing Comunicaciones's Krzysztof Rutkowski got a free kick in the 81st minute. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Belasko having to make a save. In the 87th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Radomil Hodyl, made in the 94th minute of the game. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
