Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Larsson having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christer Bratt was slow to take the kick. During this time SoS FC's players had a chance to rest. Christer Bratt made a great header on SoS FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Larsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. SoS FC's Ibrahim Jerndal suffered a fractured collar bone after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. SoS FC's Tommy Boylin was substituted for Ibrahim Jerndal. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrão de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pedrão de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Amorim came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save SoS FC from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Amorim came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Larsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. SoS FC made a substitution. Mårten Majman replaced Yusuf Ziya Öğeturk. SoS FC's Ove Holmgren was substituted for Eduard Gâgea. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Pedrão de Amorim took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Leif Duset kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Amorim came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
