Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. After taking down the ball on El Salvador's corner Mateo Leguizamo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dionisio Figueres quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Raúl Gasso hit a great ball. Raúl Gasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Raúl Gasso put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Abram Luque came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionisio Figueres could save by the left post. In the 66th minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raúl Gasso in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. With a little luck, Real Armal F.C.'s Dionisio Figueres got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes, Jesus Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Real Armal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Raúl Gasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eder Mangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eder Mangas in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 96th minute. Real Armal F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
