Niklas Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Östersunds FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Bo Hake dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 0-2. Ragnar Vennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ragnar Vennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Östersunds FK got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Vennersten. After having played for 58 minutes, Ragnar Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östersunds FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Vennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Bo Hake notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ragnar Vennersten sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Östersunds FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ivar Ivarsson hit a great ball. A hard shot 74 in the game by Ragnar Vennersten from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. After 76 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. Honduras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Claes Wall 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Niklas Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 97 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Östersunds FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
