Apolo Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play forced Patricio Rey's goalkeeper Apolo Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Rey's Apolo Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Danitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Apolo Orlandus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Apolo Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico played a much better game than Patricio Rey and deserved their victory. The Patricio Rey players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
