Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nogueira in the 8th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ernesto Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anísio Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 32 minutes into the game, Gilberto Nogueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Gilberto Nogueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anísio Souza, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anísio Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 74th minute Ernesto Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper Anísio Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Wesley Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nogueira came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute of play forced Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper Anísio Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nafiz Tekke's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nafiz Tekke helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aster Brasil Futebol Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nafiz Tekke hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anísio Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Nogueira in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Gilberto Nogueira in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
