Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Momčilo Janič took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Momčilo Janič in the 3rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When San Marino İdman Yurdu's Serter Usal in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 11th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Momčilo Janič came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Momčilo Janič in the 15th minute of the match. The San Marino İdman Yurdu fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when San Marino İdman Yurdu's Keramettin İshak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmet Necdet Secavend quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute, Momčilo Janič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Momčilo Janič in the 36th minute of the match. 0-3 became the score in the 41st minute when Keramettin İshak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of San Marino İdman Yurdu booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhuang Bo Liang missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Benito Sanz right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Momčilo Janič in the 51st minute of play. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Serter Usal sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute San Marino İdman Yurdu were awarded a corner. Zhuang Bo Liang went to the cornerflag to take it. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Zhuang Bo Liang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, Momčilo Janič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Momčilo Janič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 60th minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Serter Usal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serter Usal in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Zhuang Bo Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Marino İdman Yurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuang Bo Liang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Keramettin İshak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Momčilo Janič received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Momčilo Janič slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match Serter Usal climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-9 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Momčilo Janič 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10.
