Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcin Kosiorek's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Milano the free kick. When Marcin Kosiorek came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Inter Milano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcin Kosiorek couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Inter Milano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lombas. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Marcin Kosiorek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Marcin Kosiorek put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Kosiorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Kornasiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Pietras. Inter Milano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Inter Milano's goalkeeper Wasyl Pietras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Noboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wasyl Pietras. That made the score 2-2 in the 43 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Marcin Kosiorek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Marcin Kosiorek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
57 minutes into the match, Marcin Kosiorek notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Kornasiewicz. After 61 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Inter Milano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Marcin Kosiorek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Marcin Kosiorek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Marcin Kosiorek in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Radowit Kornasiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Radowit Kornasiewicz scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Milano's Radowit Kornasiewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-6 after 79 minutes of play. Radowit Kornasiewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Radowit Kornasiewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 82nd minute. Axel Tasis was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Radowit Kornasiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Inter Milano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
