Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucílio Figueiras got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lucílio Figueiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube de Gaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lucílio Figueiras came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Hats took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 24th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Fernandes in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Sporting Clube de Gaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Lobo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Renato Vargas in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Eurico lago got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Vargas. Renato Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 40 minutes into the game, Fredy Montero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredy Montero in the 44th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Fredy Montero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. After the first half Sporting Clube de Gaya were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sporting Clube de Gaya getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Matias Lobo hit a great ball. Renato Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 55th minute of play. Matias Lobo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Renato Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Renato Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 75th minute of the match. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 played minutes Sporting Clube de Gaya got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Fernandes. In the 81st minute, Fredy Montero made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Renato Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 92 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Lucílio Figueiras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Eloy Hats tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although Panama had been in control for most of the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya still came away with the win.
