Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Florencio Ferran got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luz Tejedor in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Quintyn saved Húsares from getting behind. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Josué Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Húsares's protests and gave Josué Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Josué Vargas. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Humberto Pacorro, made in the 20th minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Ferran in the 27th minute of play. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of the match. Fabio Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute. After the first half Húsares were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Quintyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Quintyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Quintyn was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 59th play minutes Julian Murillo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Fabio Quintyn and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 64th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Florencio Ferran sent off a good shot on target. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon was substituted for Florencio Ferran. After 78 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Kismi. Húsares made a substitution. Fiz Sacristán replaced Josué Vargas. In the 78th match minute, Húsares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Kismi to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 86 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ubaldo Kismi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ubaldo Kismi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 87th minute of the match. Fabio Quintyn came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of the match. Fabio Quintyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Quintyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
