Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herbert Jajecznica kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Górnik Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Chazon. Górnik Zabrze were furious when Jacek Chazon was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With an all-out effort, Górnik Zabrze's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herbert Jajecznica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute, Herbert Jajecznica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. Górnik Zabrze's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Kluska in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Herbert Jajecznica made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Jajecznica in the 30th minute of play. Ulryk Tylenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antoni Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugeniusz Kluska in the 38th minute. If Herbert Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 40th minute of play. Ulryk Tylenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Eugeniusz Kluska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Herbert Jajecznica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ulryk Tylenda made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulryk Tylenda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Ulryk Tylenda in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Górnik Zabrze's Herbert Jajecznica got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Jajecznica took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Górnik Zabrze booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Jajecznica in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 78th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulryk Tylenda. Isidoro Sarmiento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2.
