After having played for 13 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Awwad Al Fadhalah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hatta's Awwad Al Fadhalah got a free kick in the 18th minute. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lou Wegers made a huge save. With a little luck, Hatta's Lou Wegers got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Lou Wegers in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lou Wegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Hatta's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lou Wegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meqdad Al Bana in the 33rd minute of play. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lou Wegers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lou Wegers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Awwad Al Fadhalah in the 39th minute of the match. Lou Wegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Hatta's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Lou Wegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Miguel Miralles took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Lou Wegers to make any attempt to save it.

Lou Wegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Hatta got a freekick which was hit by Awwad Al Fadhalah. Aamir Khorshed kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lou Wegers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Awwad Al Fadhalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Wegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemir Al Hadhod was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. The referee gave Panama a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abraham Alguacil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hatta's Lou Wegers. 4-0. Aamir Khorshed kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Hatta's Lou Wegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 96th minute of play. When Aamir Khorshed fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hatta's protests and gave Aamir Khorshed a yellow card for diving instead. Lou Wegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hatta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panama.
