Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Herbert Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Zabrze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulryk Tylenda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Waclaw Topolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Kaczucha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Herbert Jajecznica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Jajecznica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Herbert Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Górnik Zabrze's Stefan Dobrzechowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ulryk Tylenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Herbert Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 35th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Jajecznica. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Herbert Jajecznica notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Górnik Zabrze's Herbert Jajecznica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Jajecznica to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulryk Tylenda. Górnik Zabrze's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Górnik Zabrze got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugeniusz Kluska ran over to the corner to take the kick. 66 minutes in the game Arturo Carvallo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaime Cazalla. A collision led to Górnik Zabrze getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jakub Domaradzki hit a great ball. Antoni Majkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Stefan Dobrzechowski made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Waclaw Topolski however managed to control. In the 80th minute, Antoni Majkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Ulryk Tylenda. Górnik Zabrze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Górnik Zabrze. Eugeniusz Kluska stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 2-3. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Jajecznica in the 93rd minute of play. Herbert Jajecznica charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Jajecznica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herbert Jajecznica hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Górnik Zabrze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Majkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
