Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Figueiredo made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Alex Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alegrense Futebol Clube's Alex Figueiredo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Figueiredo got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Alegrense Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Covarrubias in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Amaral saved Alegrense Futebol Clube from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Loureiro in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alegrense Futebol Clube's Cássio Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeu de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. When Alberto Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Alegrense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Loureiro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Alegrense Futebol Clube's Sílvio Luiz Mattos got a free kick in the 90th minute. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cássio Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Cássio Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
