Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Veiga having to interfere. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guilherme Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trey Echols. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trey Echols, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Trey Echols made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trey Echols in the 55th minute of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Larry Cermak replaced Xu Yuan Lin. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson took the corner. The corner ended in Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Tyrone Terrell. But to his dismay, Tyrone Terrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodney Hagen was substituted for Trey Echols. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Chance Adams replaced Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. After 64 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 64th minute, James Joyner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Guilherme Veiga made a huge save. Guilherme Veiga made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guilherme Veiga. Guilherme Veiga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Rodney Hagen spun around in front of the goal 78 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ecuador's goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. 89 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Chance Adams came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Miami Futbol Club.
