In the 4th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håvard Kristiansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håvard Kristiansen. FK BSK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, FK BSK's Vukomir Berzadović made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play forced FK BSK's goalkeeper Håvard Kristiansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, FK BSK's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Håvard Kristiansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FK BSK booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sanjin Kodro. 28 minutes into the game, Joakim Lustig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK BSK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. A collision led to FK BSK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Joakim Lustig hit a great ball. Håvard Kristiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of the match. Allan Eliasson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Alebom during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vukomir Berzadović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Emanuel Ocampo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK BSK:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sanjin Kodro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FK BSK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Henry Alebom hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Håvard Kristiansen. FK BSK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Feliks Kosakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vukomir Berzadović in the 76th minute of play. After 78 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henry Alebom who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of FK BSK booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Henry Alebom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Vukomir Berzadović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vukomir Berzadović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. FK BSK's Håvard Kristiansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FK BSK from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Honduras's Milagros Cabal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håvard Kristiansen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes FK BSK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in FK BSK's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håvard Kristiansen came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
