Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Jaroszewicz having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acid Drinkers's goalkeeper Tolek Jaroszewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Acid Drinkers's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Tolek Jaroszewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Jaroszewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Jaroszewicz having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Emil Skrzypek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acid Drinkers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Jaroszewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play forced Acid Drinkers's goalkeeper Tolek Jaroszewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Acid Drinkers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Acid Drinkers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Gaspard to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Acid Drinkers's goalkeeper Tolek Jaroszewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolek Jaroszewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Jaroszewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tolek Jaroszewicz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 67th minute of play forced Acid Drinkers's goalkeeper Tolek Jaroszewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Jaroszewicz was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Luis Andino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Andino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Gaspard in the 72nd minute of play. Antonio Arias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Napoleon Psotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Acid Drinkers throughout the match.
