With an all-out effort, Lara FK's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesur Kurceren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lara FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mansur Yörük in the 100th minute. When the final whistle sounded Lara FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
