Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Lisewski in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Super Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Lisewski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüseyin Kakisim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Toader Purcărete managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Super Team's Henry Hamberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 minutes, Hüseyin Kakisim made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Iulian Cobâlcescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Toader Purcărete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Marius Gherghe struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Team. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Super Team were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. If Czeslaw Lisewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Henry Hamberg scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Super Team's Laércio Barbosa got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 69th minute of play forced Super Team's goalkeeper Toader Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Lisewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Super Team's Hipolito Cordarrell was substituted for Iulian Cobâlcescu. In the 84th minute, Hipolito Cordarrell made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The supporters of Super Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Hamberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hüseyin Kakisim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Super Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
