The Stellenbosch fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flóki Cabezudo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Flóki Cabezudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Cabezudo in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flóki Cabezudo in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flóki Cabezudo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Flóki Cabezudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Flóki Cabezudo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Flóki Cabezudo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo. But to his dismay, Flóki Cabezudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Cabezudo in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luca Savini hit a great ball. Stellenbosch's Osvaldo Bernat was substituted for Flóki Cabezudo. Luca Savini kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Bernat in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Bernat's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvaldo Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stellenbosch were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
