Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilias Seichanidis having to make a save. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Seichanidis having to interfere. Ilias Seichanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Ilias Seichanidis. ΟΦΗ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ΟΦΗ's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilias Seichanidis came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ilias Seichanidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis. Ilias Seichanidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Landero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. ΟΦΗ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilias Seichanidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the game, Nasos Papadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΟΦΗ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Nasos Papadis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilias Seichanidis. ΟΦΗ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

ΟΦΗ's Akis Karaoulanis was substituted for Babbis Theodorakakos. After 54 played minutes Alberto Tafalla rounded ΟΦΗ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis. But to his dismay, Nasos Papadis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of the match. Ilias Seichanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 68th minute. If Nasos Papadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilias Seichanidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ilias Seichanidis made a huge save. Nasos Papadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilias Seichanidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 84 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ilias Seichanidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ΟΦΗ's Fulvio Forlani managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 86 minute of the game. Ilias Seichanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 89th minute. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
