But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Moura couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, The Globo Red's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Don Bray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Adam Muddle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Globo Red's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Globo Red was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Muddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Bray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Bray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Don Bray came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 37 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Will Budden. When Will Budden came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the The Globo Red fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Budden couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. When Dominik Webb came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the The Globo Red fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Webb couldn't finish the play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rudolf Rus came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the The Globo Red fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Rus couldn't finish the play. The Globo Red's Don Bray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Don Bray skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Moura in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 66thth minute of the game Caco Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on The Globo Red's corner Dominik Webb fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the The Globo Red defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Don Bray. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Don Bray in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Don Bray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. Caco Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The The Globo Red players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
