Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that C.D Las Palmas - Chota's Fede Saron managed to reach the ball for a save. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's Fede Saron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Wieslaw Makowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D Las Palmas - Chota and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wieslaw Makowski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fede Saron saved C.D Las Palmas - Chota from getting behind. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fede Saron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Fede Saron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fede Saron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's Fede Saron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. Fede Saron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play forced C.D Las Palmas - Chota's goalkeeper Fede Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fede Saron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fede Saron came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fede Saron having to interfere. Wieslaw Makowski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 42nd minute of play forced C.D Las Palmas - Chota's goalkeeper Fede Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelio Badilla who took care of the corner kick. Juan Sebastián Puig tried in the game's 48th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Julio Vera. An annoying self made goal, 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 54 minutes C.D Las Palmas - Chota's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Cean in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 64th match minute, C.D Las Palmas - Chota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hardeep Kunt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fede Saron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when C.D Las Palmas - Chota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Makowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fede Saron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
