After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ferdi Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Bomba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Arruda in the 5th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Bomba in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dante Gitano hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Ferdi Bomba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Ferdi Bomba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Arruda in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Ferdi Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Bomba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Ferdi Bomba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Bomba in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Bomba in the 44th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdi Bomba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ferdi Bomba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Morales Toralino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ferdi Bomba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When Ferdi Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdi Bomba couldn't finish the play. lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc made a substitution. Nicanor Montxo replaced Gervasio Bieito. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdi Bomba in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc's Nicanor Montxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Tales Arruda took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdi Bomba went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Ferdi Bomba put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. When the match was over lןןl MONTE CHINGOLO fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
