In the 15th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Koprowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zygmunt Koprowski quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisc Bîndean. Avram Iurea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Maxim Sfetcu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Maxim Sfetcu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Sfetcu in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Koprowski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Cotuțiu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Bîndean in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Zygmunt Koprowski made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zygmunt Koprowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski. Zygmunt Koprowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BVB 09's Matei Chelaru was substituted for Francisc Bîndean. BVB 09 made a substitution.
