ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's Delfim Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cauan Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cauan Carvalho. 24 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cauan Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lenni Prehn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ALMA GUERREIRA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan Carvalho came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Cauan Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Cauan Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cauan Carvalho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match, Lasse Delvig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Carvalho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Delvig in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Lasse Delvig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Cauan Carvalho made a huge save. José San Martín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save ALMA GUERREIRA from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Tomé Bento got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cauan Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALMA GUERREIRA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Delfim Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lasse Delvig in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 92 minutes, Lasse Delvig made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
