Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when M. Agus Young kicked off to start the match. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo managed to work through Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Julian Murillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. Florentino Herauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. M. Agus Young recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Peru booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Lucia de Merlo's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Herauso came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso did a great save. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Florentino Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 56th minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. A well-hit corner resulted in Alonso Berganza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Santa Lucia de Merlo's attentive Bosse Spendrup managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Alvaro Llorienzo made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Herauso. That made the score 0-2 after 65 minutes of play. Florentino Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 69th minute. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The throw-in from Levan Poggenborg in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Herauso. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Bosse Spendrup hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Herauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Peru played a much better game than Santa Lucia de Merlo and deserved their victory. The Santa Lucia de Merlo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
