Lars-Erik Bergfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Jönsson in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play forced Six Pac FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars-Erik Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Six Pac FC's Lars-Erik Bergfelt did a great save. Lars-Erik Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars-Erik Bergfelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Charles Godholm made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Torbjörn Nordlund however managed to control. The supporters of Six Pac FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Jönsson in the 59th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Lars-Erik Bergfelt threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 66 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars-Erik Bergfelt. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Six Pac FC's Ingmar Lundgren got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lars-Erik Bergfelt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lars-Erik Bergfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Lövgren in the 82nd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Jönsson in the 83rd minute of play. When Six Pac FC's Kurt Lövgren in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Six Pac FC's Lars-Erik Bergfelt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Six Pac FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars-Erik Bergfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lars-Erik Bergfelt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lars-Erik Bergfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Charles Godholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars-Erik Bergfelt came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.
