The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Nordström got free with Julio Vera in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredrik Nordströms short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Kalenik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alo Kalenik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a Tykhela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alo Kalenik made a huge save. With a little luck, Tykhela FC's Alo Kalenik got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. But to his dismay, Maarek Vananurm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alo Kalenik made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Tykhela FC's Maarek Vananurm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tykhela FC's Alo Kalenik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 86th minute of play.
