Adam Huratiak kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Barnaba Zurawski kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mitus in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ashley Milburn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ashley Milburn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ashley Milburn to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute Wasyl Milko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arkadiusz Banaszak who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the game, Tanek Lewicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gedaithen Czomolungma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gedaithen Czomolungma's Ashley Milburn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ashley Milburn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gedaithen Czomolungma's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ashley Milburn came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ashley Milburn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 61st minute of play. Gedaithen Czomolungma's Ashley Milburn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 63rd minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gedaithen Czomolungma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Zurawski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gedaithen Czomolungma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ashley Milburn should have stopped the shot. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Milko in the 87th minute of play. Gedaithen Czomolungma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arkadiusz Banaszak in the 88th minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ashley Milburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gedaithen Czomolungma had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
