To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nicolas Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Carrapichel - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Urbano couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Váldson Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. David Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, David Fernandes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Abel de Barros sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 66th minute, Váldson Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game David Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fernandes in the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Carrapichel - FDFDF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
