In the 10thth minute of the game Kustaa Esala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taito Turpeinen in the 15th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Kustaa Esala came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Kustaa Esala scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kustaa Esala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Bruno Beldad charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Beldad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 30 minutes, Taito Turpeinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taito Turpeinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liverpool FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taito Turpeinen took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Viljami Virtala to score against Joaquin Gayoso in Uruguay's goal. 1-2 after 33 minutes. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kustaa Esala, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taito Turpeinen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kustaa Esala took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 57 minutes into the game, Tuukka Liimatainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Liverpool FC's Tuukka Liimatainen got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Tuukka Liimatainen off the ground. In the 60th minute, Tuukka Liimatainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kustaa Esala got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Juhapekka Eloranta hit a great ball. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 83rd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool FC's Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 86th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Liverpool FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Uruguay side.
