Luís Moldavsky made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haiti's Raymond Louis. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Mazza came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Elói Queiroz hit a great ball. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Alphonse in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 45th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Enéas Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Aparecido made in the 47th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sidney Pires immediately put the ball in play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 57th minute, Luís Moldavsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Mazza made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jonathan Alphonse sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fábio Umrihin hit a great ball. Gesner Philippe struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Enéas Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Enéas Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Alphonse's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Mazza having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Enéas Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
