Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Limanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jimmy Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Renan Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Matanza and Steelers's Leysus Oktavianus. But to his dismay, Leysus Oktavianus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leysus Oktavianus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Gonza Victoria kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrico Herzog to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Correia to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Örtendal who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Tello in the 58th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renan Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. César Lucas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jimmy Örtendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Peixoto in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renan Mendes. That made the score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. Renan Mendes made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leysus Oktavianus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Matanza and Steelers could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
