Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Lajos Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lajos Bíró. Gelse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lajos Bíró was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lajos Bíró tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lajos Bíró didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. In the 24th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig made a precise shot to the right of Lajos Bíró. Gelse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 28th minute Alfredo Ferrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illés Dudás kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Bolivia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elek Gömöri to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Gelse's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Chicote came free, but Lajos Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Gelse got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Gellért. Alfonso de la Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Máté Farkas fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gelse's protests and gave Máté Farkas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Gelse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máté Farkas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Gelse's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lajos Bíró made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lajos Bíró came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Fontirroig slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Julio Chicote took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Lajos Bíró to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th match minute, Gelse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Benedek to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Bolivia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gelse.
