Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Mădălin Cangeopol got free with Dante Lacasa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panait Hațegan came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alper Benli in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Panait Hațegan skillfully saved the ball. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Alper Benli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of the match. Wesley Sneijder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panait Hațegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan did a great save. The attack was good, but when Luca Zorita in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mădălin Cangeopol sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Heintje Gamarra. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Cangeopol. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Panait Hațegan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Panait Hațegan made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Panait Hațegan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ovidiu Șişman's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Șişman helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Gaona walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panait Hațegan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Panait Hațegan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Hațegan. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panait Hațegan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute Alper Benli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alper Benli got a throw-in 97 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marius Tănasă. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
